Theatrical Rigging
Omaha Stage Equipment installs and services all theater and stage rigging, from dead hung curtain systems to full counterweight systems. Our rigging hardware is provided by H&H Specialties, who has been manufacturing curtain tracks and rigging equipment for the entertainment and performing arts facilities for 40 years under the Atlas Silk® trademark. We also offer extensive rigging inspections so you can rest assured your system is safe and operable.
Theatrical Lighting
Omaha Stage Equipment installs a wide variety of Theatrical LED & Conventional Lighting Systems. Each system is custom designed to meet the needs of our clients and training is always provided to ensure proper operation. We work with companies such as ETC, Chauvet, Altman, Blizzard, and Strong.
About
Omaha Stage Equipment, formerly Metropolitan Stage Equipment was founded in the 1920s and was purchased by Mel Walling and Don Beck in the 1970s. The name was then changed to Omaha Stage Equipment and moved to its current location on 38th and Leavenworth. Ownership switched hands again in the late 1980s when Steve Walling bought the company from his father. In 2016, Pat Johnson bought the company and it has been in the mix of redevelopment ever since.
We specialize in manufacturing custom stage curtains and theatrical drapery for all types of venues including schools, auditoriums, theaters, and churches. We also supply and install a wide variety of Curtain Tracks and Counterweight Rigging Systems, along with Theatrical LED Lighting. Omaha Stage Equipment takes pride in installing every piece of equipment with care. We field test all equipment when installation is complete so you can be assured that you will get years of trouble free operation.
Omaha Stage Equipment carries a wide variety of lamps for both older and newer light fixtures. We also have plenty of Gaffers Tape, Glow Tape, Spike Tape and Rosco Gel in stock to suit any need that may arise.
